Our Community of Researchers, Patients, and Advocates

The Cancer Prevention and Treatment Fund works with the community of medical professionals, researchers, advocates, patients, and family members who share our commitment to help children and adults reduce their risks of getting all types of cancer, and assist them in choosing the safest and most effective treatments.

We are always looking for new research findings from people with expertise in cancer prevention, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are a researcher or health care professional who can help us better fulfill our mission, we hope you will join our Cancer Research Network.

If you are patient, family member, or advocate for people with cancer, we hope you will want to be on our email list for up-to-date information, and will consider volunteering to assist us in our work, or making a donation to support our efforts.

Many academic researchers and other experts who disseminate their findings through academic articles and professional meetings would like their work to help more patients and families. When researchers join our Cancer Research Network, the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Fund can help them gain a wider audience for their work while also helping families get the medical care and information they are looking for. We provide training and assistance to cancer researchers who want to learn to work more effectively with the media or to become more involved in public policy. We can also help people with similar or complementary interests in cancer prevention and research get in touch with each other.
